I was just thinking how much i love them critters . they have a certin personality about them as a whole .. Has any ony had any sucess in training them to do trick's like that of a dog ?? Does training with a clicker really work ??

Thu, March 17, 2005 - 11:09 AMI would recommend moving to either Guatemala or Uruguay, and becoming a goucho. You'll need a sumbrero, some rope, some chaps, and a lot of enthusiasm.
I also recommend bringing an an ArmaLite AR-50 single shot bolt action rifle. The octagonal receiver is bedded into an aluminum stock, and it is equipped standard with a modified M16 type vertical pistol grip and a removable buttstock for ease of transport. You may need it if the 'pacas get out of hand.
The heart of an Alpaca is not easily won, so don't be discouraged if it takes you 10 or 15 years to learn the ropes. -

I'm not really into arm's ..I'm more of a hoof man myself .Thank's for the info ..If I am ment to be a jolly rancher then so be it ..I'm thinking of getting an angora rabbit for the time being ..Mabey... -
